How your donations are changing lives
Our aim at The Jermain Defoe Foundation is to help underprivileged children in the Caribbean and the UK. The vulnerable children we help are often abused, sick, homeless or neglected. We want our supporters to have full transparency about how money raised for the Foundation is spent, so please see our current projects below showing what all funds raised will go towards.
LIFE-THREATENING ILLNESSES UK
Following the close relationship that Jermain formed with Bradley Lowery, the Jermain Defoe Foundation is expanding its cause in the United Kingdom to help those children with life-threatening illnesses. We aim to raise funds for other children affected by neuroblastoma, a rare form of childhood cancer, to receive treatment.

Haris Khan
In May 2019 we featured a story on baby Haris Khan. Our charity was approached by the Khan family who had reached out to the public for support in trying to gain access to a drug called Spinraza, which at the time was not funded by the NHS.
Through sheer determination they were able to gain access to the drug which boosts quality of life for their son Haris who suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a terminal genetic illness. After a successful campaign by the Khans we are pleased to announce Haris, along with all the other children across the country in need of this drug are now able to benefit from the treatment.
We wish the family all the best for the future.
Zac Oliver
The incredible story of Zac Oliver is an inspiration to many. Against all odds his parents successfully raised the funds needed, enabling him to receive lifesaving treatment currently available in the USA.
We are pleased to see Zac’s progress. Click below for more information and updates on brave Zac.
