Hurricane Maria Dominica

Following the devastations of Hurricane Maria in Dominica, the Jermain Defoe Foundation expanded its cause to raise funds for children in other Caribbean islands, as well as St Lucia. The foundation recognised the important need in Dominica, as the devastations meant that 98% of homes lost their roofs with many homes damaged beyond repair. Many children were traumatised by the experience and children’s education has been compromised, with school buildings damaged, books and resources destroyed. We hope we can raise much-needed funds to help create a brighter future for the children and people of Dominica.
