Jermain first visited Soufriere Primary School in 2010 to view damage caused by Hurricane Tomas. After Jermain donated money to the school so the library could be refurbished, a sign was unveiled at the new library by principal Mr Felix Gill naming it ‘Jermain Defoe School Library’.

The Foundation hosted a Gala Dinner to help raise funds for homeless and abused children in St.Lucia. The Gala Dinner event raised over £80,000 to go towards building a new children’s home in the South of the island.
